Abstract

Undoubtedly, many famous play Writers in Urdu language and literature have offered their services and one of them is also named Meerza Adeeb. Meerza Adeeb’s real name was Dilawar Hussain. He belonged to a middle class family in Lahore. The reason is that he fully represented the middle class in his various genres and especially in Urdu Dramas. Meerza Adeeb always kept high moral and positive values in his Urdu Dramas keeping in the view the common man and his social problems. Meerza Adeeb presented unparalleled dramas while experimenting in long and short Urdu Dramas. He often used short and simple dialogues. He always believed in philanthropy and compassion. He gave positive messages to the society through his plays. That is why in this Article I tried to give a brief overview of Meerza Adeeb’s services regarding Urdu Dramas.
