Abstract

The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a monumental initiative that represents a cornerstone of China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), aiming to foster economic cooperation between China and Pakistan. This paper explores the multifaceted economic and strategic implications of CPEC, emphasizing its transformative potential for both nations. Economically, CPEC is poised to catalyze infrastructure development, enhance energy security, and create numerous job opportunities. The construction of roads, railways, and energy projects aims to reduce logistical costs and improve trade efficiency, thereby positioning Pakistan as a vital trade hub connecting Central and South Asia.
